Golf Lessons
New clubs are fun, but they are not always the best way to lower your scores. Our lessons run on the same Foresight Falcon, so your progress shows up on the screen and in the numbers rather than in somebody’s opinion.
Our PGA certified trainers build a plan around your game, your schedule and your budget — whether that is one session before a trip or a winter of steady work.

Fitting carts from Titleist, Mizuno, Ping, TaylorMade and Callaway, compared side by side on the same screen in the same session.
Build it to spec
Length, lie, loft and grip size finished on our own bench, then checked before it goes in your bag.

I came in on Saturday to get fitted for a set of Irons. Brian did the fitting and basically gave me a lesson. I ended up buying the Mizuno 850 Forged irons, a Mizuno driver, 3 wood, hybrids and wedges. Oh yes I almost forgot, a Mizuno golf bag and hats. I was so impressed with Brian's teaching style that I scheduled a lesson for Saturday. All in all I was extremely pleased with my experience there and I will be a repeat customer.

Do I need an appointment for a club fitting or a lesson?
Yes — fittings, lessons and simulator rentals are by appointment because each one uses the Foresight Falcon bay. You can book online or call the store. Walking in to shop the floor, buy golf balls or drop off a club for re-gripping never needs an appointment.
What launch monitor does South Shore Golf use for fitting?
South Shore Golf fits and teaches on a Foresight Falcon launch monitor. It measures both club delivery and ball flight, so you see carry distance, dispersion, spin and strike location on screen instead of guessing from range balls.
How long does re-gripping take at South Shore Golf?
Most re-gripping jobs are done in-store while you wait or the same day, depending on how busy the bench is. South Shore Golf stocks Super Stroke, JumboMax, Golf Pride, Winn and Lamkin grips, and also handles shaft replacement, loft and lie adjustment and general club repair.
Can I rent the golf simulator at South Shore Golf?
Yes. The Foresight Falcon simulator is available to rent by the hour, which is how a lot of Long Island golfers keep their swing through the winter. Call ahead to reserve the bay, especially on weekends and after work.
Does South Shore Golf offer junior golf programs?
Yes. South Shore Golf runs PGA Junior League Golf, a team-based format that gets kids playing with a jersey and teammates rather than grinding alone on a range. Junior lessons and junior club fitting are also available.
