Golf is fun, but it’s also challenging, competitive and sometimes frustrating. Our customers range from first-timers to scratch golfers, kids to seniors, weekend players to aspiring professionals — and we want every one of them comfortable asking a question, no matter how basic it sounds.
We represent and fit clubs for most major manufacturers in the industry, including Mizuno, Titleist, Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, Cobra and Tour Edge. Carrying that range means we can tailor the right clubs to each customer’s swing and budget, rather than steering everyone toward whatever’s on the rack.
Our focus is integrity, customer service and satisfaction — whether that’s a full fitting, a lesson, a re-grip, a repair, or just stopping in to test the latest equipment. We keep looking for ways to make that easier, from golf cart rentals during the pandemic to curbside pickup and delivery for club re-gripping.

We are here for one reason: to help golfers get the maximum enjoyment out of golf. That is not a slogan we workshopped. We play golf, we watch golf and we talk golf, and that is a big reason we started SSG in the first place.
Come see the new equipment before you commit to it. Get on the simulator in February. Take a lesson on a Tuesday night. Or just stop in and talk golf for twenty minutes — plenty of people do, and we have never minded. You will find us on Sunrise Highway in Oakdale.

Yes — fittings, lessons and simulator rentals are by appointment because each one uses the Foresight Falcon bay. You can book online or call the store. Walking in to shop the floor, buy golf balls or drop off a club for re-gripping never needs an appointment.
South Shore Golf fits and teaches on a Foresight Falcon launch monitor. It measures both club delivery and ball flight, so you see carry distance, dispersion, spin and strike location on screen instead of guessing from range balls.
Most re-gripping jobs are done in-store while you wait or the same day, depending on how busy the bench is. South Shore Golf stocks Super Stroke, JumboMax, Golf Pride, Winn and Lamkin grips, and also handles shaft replacement, loft and lie adjustment and general club repair.
Yes. The Foresight Falcon simulator is available to rent by the hour, which is how a lot of Long Island golfers keep their swing through the winter. Call ahead to reserve the bay, especially on weekends and after work.
Yes. South Shore Golf runs PGA Junior League Golf, a team-based format that gets kids playing with a jersey and teammates rather than grinding alone on a range. Junior lessons and junior club fitting are also available.
