Every fitting runs on the same Foresight Falcon we use for lessons, so the decisions come from data, not opinion.

  1. 01Talk through your gameYour misses, your scores, what you want the ball to do and what you want to spend. Five minutes that saves an hour.
  2. 02Hit on the Foresight FalconWe capture club delivery and ball flight together: carry, dispersion, spin and strike location.
  3. 03Test heads and shaftsFitting carts from Titleist, Mizuno, Ping, TaylorMade and Callaway, compared side by side in the same session.
  4. 04Build it to specLength, lie, loft and grip size finished on our own bench, then checked before it goes in your bag.

Most golfers start with the driver or the irons. Tell us what’s bothering you and we’ll start there.

  • Drivers and fairway woods. Launch, spin and dispersion off the tee.
  • Hybrids. Filling the gap between your longest iron and your fairway wood.

How much does a club fitting cost at South Shore Golf?

Club fitting is $100 per hour on the Foresight Falcon launch monitor with a PGA certified fitter.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. Fittings, lessons and simulator time share the same Foresight Falcon bay, so every session is by appointment. Book online or call (631) 563-2025.

Which brands can I try?

We have fitting carts from Titleist, Mizuno, Ping, TaylorMade and Callaway, and we compare them side by side in the same session.

Who does the fitting?

Our PGA certified fitters. South Shore Golf is owned by PGA professionals Rich Hofer and Andy Carracino, who opened the shop in 2008.

Should I take a lesson or get fitted first?

If you hit the same miss with every club, start with a lesson. If you are buying new clubs anyway, get fitted so they are built to your numbers. Not sure? Ask Jarvis or call the shop.

Can I give a fitting as a gift?

Yes. South Shore Golf gift cards can be used for fittings, lessons, simulator time and anything in the shop.
